"A Scientific Guide to Understanding Conscious Transcendence Through Psychedelics"
I originally wrote my book "Becoming God" as scientific approach to debunk spirituality and religion through a close examination of quantum physics, neurobiology, chaos theory and string theory. For me, there was no mystery. Everything, I thought, could be explained by the forces of nature and through sciences that we are just now beginning to unravel. I soon discovered that I couldn't have been more wrong.
While researching this book I was introduced to the world of psychedelics. This introduction has simply been the most profound experience of my life and has positively changed my life in ways I never thought possible. Psychedelics gave me a glimpse into a parallel reality that lie within the confines of my own mind however, is far more vast and complex than anything we have ever contemplated in the reality we have come to know as home. At the core of ones mind there is a basic oneness to all reality. A symbiotic relationship that transcends all thought and all reality.
There is an ancient greek word to describe this ideology called "Entheogenic" derived from the word "Entheos", translating literally as "God is within". This term was coined along with the use of entheogens, psychedelic chemicals and plants said to produce a higher state of consciousness allowing the participant to clearly experience this connectivity and oneness. Now designer psychedelics such as LSD, Mescaline, DMT and the new compounds of 2C-i, 2C-b and 2C-e are said re-affirm this through an unparalleled psychedelic experience. Many believe the use of these psychedelic substances may usher in a new conscious awareness.
